Feminism/Geekery is a website dedicated to highlight the intersections of women, technology, video games, comics, and fandom.
Editor-in-Chief: Kate Reynolds
Kate Reynolds recently graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Masters in Popular Culture. After spending two years analyzing women and video games for her master’s thesis (which can be found here) she decided to continue her passions for those subject in a more reader-friendly way. In addition to video games, Kate loves reading comics (Saga, Glory, Captain Marvel, Miss Marvel and more) and occasionally likes to write queer interpretations of superhero movies.
In what little spare time she has, Kate also enjoys crafting superhero themed scarves on her loom, making Pokemon themed items for around the house, and re-enacting scenes from Mass Effect with Happy Meal Toys.
Feminism/Geekery is always on the lookout for contributors capable of writing about feminism, video games, and comics in a fun way. If you would like to pitch an idea, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are currently seeking contributors on a volunteer basis.
